Michelle Kraus
Project Manager
Making the transition from design to final product can be an overwhelming step for many clients. Michelle is the voice for her clients ensuring that their design goals, budget and concerns are always at the forefront. With her background in architecture and work experience as a construction project manager, she advocates effectively with both architects and construction professionals.
By working in both spheres, Michelle continues to gain knowledge on how to bring construction experiences into future designs and how architecture-led design can improve in construction. In her role at Jones Pierce, she builds construction and specification budgets and advocates for the client during the project.
One of the more stressful aspects of the process is finish selections, and Michelle plays a key role with selections. Michelle understands that the finishes are a critical component in transforming the design into livable/workable structures. She prides herself in finding finishes that are better for the environment, durable, reflect the client’s taste, and are within budget. Currently, she works with the Lawrenceville Housing Authority as a Client Rep selecting finishes. Her goal is to raise the standard on products that are typically selected, but still within the Authority’s budget.
Michelle has a Bachelors and Masters of Architecture from Georgia Tech and is in the process of becoming a registered architect in Georgia. When she is not studying, she loves to spend time with her husband, son and dogs doing outdoor activities.
