Born and raised in Brazil, Karlla moved to the Atlanta area in 2015 to pursue her Masters of Science in Architecture with a focus on sustainable design.
Karlla was drawn to architecture at an early age and always enjoyed organizing and connecting spaces according to their programs and functions. Karlla is extremely organized and driven and is a true believer that a well-designed space can directly impact people’s lives and happiness.
Her previous work experience in interior design allows Karlla to think of a building from the inside/out, focusing on people and how they will live and entertain in the space and letting those things inform the architecture. Karlla enjoys sharing her expanded knowledge of interior finishes and communicating with Jones Pierce’s clients.
Karlla is mama of two cats and loves musical theater and the occasional Korean-style Karaoke.
